NO MARMITE IN TUNISIA

About Me

Hi everyone! I've had enough of this weather, unemployment, stupid prices...etc. I'm looking to relocate to Tunisia as soon as possible. I recently enrolled on a TEFL course and am hoping to qualify early next year. Once I get my certificate, I'm moving to sunny Tunisia :D

See you there!

Marc

Hi Marc,
Sounds like a good idea Marc to try your hand at teaching. I suppose in my job now I already do that, would need the TEFL qualification the same as you, and I can speak a little French. I am sure that with Tunisia opening up, there will be an increase in demand for English teachers, maybe even in the many Tourism Colleges there.
I take it you have been there before??
I think hostels maybe a bit grim - but then cost of living is so low and the people very friendly and willing to help.
Good luck and keep in touch...

My sentiments entirely Marc!! The only thing stopping me making the final move is employment. Been there numerous times, but trying to find the allegedly numerous UK and European Companies trading there seems almost impossible!! Getting a local job is impossible - they can only employ local people.Only other alternative seems to be setting up your own business such as a cafe, bar etc but this needs money! Anyway - good luck, and if you should hear of any employment opportunities - please let me know!
