Hi and welcome. I'm an Australian living in Tunisia so I can certainly give you some good information. I'm married to a Tune. One thing you should know, Tunisia is not the same as morocco or Jordan. It is more aligned to Europe but it has some quirkyness about it. I saw that you would like to live here - really? Why?? Try a visit first is my suggestion.

Thanks alot Elaine for the info. But I am not coming to Tunisia yet I thought maybe late October for a Holiday first. Are you planning still to live in Tunisia or going back to the UK? It would be really nice to know someone who is already living there..as it would not be quite so lonely..anyways keep in touch, take care Margaret.

Hi Brit Canada,
I may be able to help you with an apartment as I have given notice on my apartment in Sousse. It is available unfurnished or furnished, in a good area with roof terrace and near the beach and shops etc. I am also selling some furniture cheap and a tv. I am planning to go to Tunisia within the next few weeks and would be keen to have a travel partner and could possibly help you find your way around.
