Hi melanie, we have spoken before when I was going to come but didnt. I made a decision that the time is right for me now, and enquired about the same apartment in beni khiar, I think u know the people who have it to rent. I dont remember now but am trying to get in touch with them about it. its a ground floor one with a small front garden and I believe the owners live above it, does it ring any bells with you. regards carolle

Hi Melanie well you seem to be quite updated re tunisia my question to you how much do you know about legal affairs ie business.its a long story.main concern it was signed over october 2010 and as to date the new owners have not paid it appears that after 3months they changed their mind and basically did a runner therefor the proprietor reclaimed..yes details are with an advocat and it is soon 2years since one german woman and her tunisian sister in law signed the contract as you may guess I was the silent partner .but I want my money even though it was sold for half what was paid .do you have any comments or good solicitors.

Hi I have tried posting on the forum page but am are unable to. I have a villa in Grombalia and I am trying to find a company to build a small swimming pool and find out average cost. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Karen

Hi there, could you please remove my profile from here please?! I have no idea how I can do it, in fact i'm sure i can't. But as you will see I'm getting abuse from some weirdo who started talkig to me then flipped out when i told him to leave me alone! Have flagged him as inappropriate because he is!!!

I am sorry last time when we met it was in a clinic and as i was looking after one of my relatives i did not have a chance to chat with you or your husband . hi im goin be moving to tunisia hopefuly in the summer as my husband isnt wanting to cum to australia imm not exactly sure be alot easier but think with visia and mmoney its too much i will be moving into jendouba area where his family are can you give me any information about schools that would be good for 2 children 8 and 6yrs old just to start basic arabic and do u know of any rentals cumming available i am a jehovahs witness n need also know of any others in that area or if any in tunisia is there any other australain people living near jendouba plzz let me know april xx

Hi Melanie, hope you are well, just wanted to say hi as I only just got around to joining your website, very remiss of me since I've been living here for over 4 months now!
Hope you haven't been affected by the troubles too much. I'm in Dar Chaabane, Nabeul, staying here with my husband while we wait to sort out visa issues. Got to say I've found myself pretty bored especially when my husband is busy, I don't know anyone else here now that the only other English person I knew has gone. Melanie, I just read you live in beni khiar, Im moving there in may hopefully, just got to finalise things with the lady and the apartment. i wonder melanie could you tell me about beni khiar, my ex is trying to put me off big time from coming there, telling me that its not safe and no one there in winter , I told him that im happy about going there, please could you put my mind at rest. To me living 5 mins from the beach and in a quiet place sounds like heaven but he says you no live in village not safe blah blah blah
