If you're from the UK, you have 3 months stay without a visa. If you want to stay longer you will need to Carte de Sejour, and for this you must prove that you have somewhere to live (either a sale or rental contract on a property.) You will need to prove that you have income coming in also, so that you have money to live on, or you have money deposited here in a hard currency account which you can withdraw from. The Poste de Police where you will need to go for the forms to fill in can let you know the current up to date amounts that you will need for stamps, and for the amount needed to live off.

hello again - it has been over a year now and my wishes still have not changed im hoping they have just became closer, I have finished my tourism qualification here and I am ready to move forward. Tunisia is where I would like to be! I will be going for three months to look for a job as nothing seems to be coming up online, if I manage to find a job (fingers crossed) I will apply for my visa, does anyone know how long these will take to come through? I know finding work will be difficult out there but nothing good comes easy! any advise on where to look for work please I could really do with some more advice thankyou x
