Tunisia News

LATEST EVENTS AND STORIES FROM TUNISIA :

Following the crippling snows in the north of Tunisia, 14 dams out of 34 have reached their maximum absorption capacity and the city of Bizerte succumbed to floods!

Tunisia now has its own Jeremy Kyle! Adel Almi has been given a licence to problem solve among citizens, or rather more sinisterly, his organisation is thought to be the beginnings of a Religious Police organisation in Tunisia, commencing with a statement from him that all unveiled ladies will go to hell!

Tunisia arrested members of the newspaper Attounisia for displaying a picture of a Tunisian footballer and his nude girlfriend on its front page. They are currently awaiting trial! Many in Tunisia are outraged at the lack of freedom of the press!

Despite the tough economic circumstances facing North African nations, Tunisia still remains a profitable country for investors, but Morocco continues to attract greater numbers of investors, some believe it is due to Tunisia's nightmare bureaucracy!

The Minister of Trade, Zaâfouri Bashir, has reached an agreement to make sure that there is no rising of food prices across Tunisia. Many supermarkets will cut their profits to achieve this!

A TASTE OF ENGLAND IN NABEUL!
